This chapter covers the history and evolution of IoT, key features such as connectivity and automation, and the essential components like sensors, actuators, and embedded systems. It also highlights the importance of IoT in modern life, showing how it powers smart homes, smart cities, healthcare systems, agriculture, and industry.
